These products have an expanded aluminum or expanded galvanized steel grid, are curved, and have two metal clips per 3 to 4 foot section to fasten onto the outer lip of the gutter. They easily clog with catkins, pine needles, leaves, roof grit and tree seeds. Available at home improvement stores, they are relatively easy to install by homeowner or a handy man, and are inexpensive (approximately $0.50 to $1.25/ft).
