These are usually vinyl plastic, with a reverse-curve and usually one or two slots along their 3-4 foot length. The rainwater slips around the curve, and is directed into the recessed slots, and drops into the gutter.
(approx $1.25 to $2.00/ft).
Pricing varied but Big Box stores were in the $1.50 to $5.00 a foot range. You have to install.
What works, What works well and What doesn’t work:
We found these to be flimsy and with the same problems as the normal reverse curve above. They are less expensive unless they require you to replace your entire gutter system. Our comment was, “If my gutters are in good shape, why would I want you to tear them off so that you can install your product?” This category works no better than the other reverse curves and much less efficient than the Micro-Mesh category.
